The scrapbook in this collection contains correspondence, notes, certificates, clippings, and images related to early sales, experiments, and therapeutic uses of radium. Also included in the collection are folders of supplemental material, likely removed from the scrapbook. These materials include more correspondence, certificates of sale, case notes, printed material, and Robert Abbe’s autopsy report.

Scope and Contents This scrapbook contains clippings of articles, reports, letters to the editor, etc. related to and expressing opposition to vaccination, especially compulsory vaccination. Many reports are from Muncie, Terre Haute, and other parts of Indiana, but coverage also includes Brooklyn, Chicago, Milwaukee, and parts of England. Scope and Contents

Commemorative scrapbook presented to George Holatzapple on May 22, 1936, at his seventy-fourth birthday party. Contains correspondence, a radio broadcast script, and newspclippings, to commemorate the eariliset administration of oxygen in the treatment of pneumonia, which was performed by Holtzapple in 1885.
