William M. Coffin papers
The collection contains letters, claim forms, affidavits, memoranda, and other documents, 1880-1911, concerning William M. Coffin's military pension and medical disabilities from his service in the Civil War. The papers describe Coffin's state of health and war related disabilities as well as his experiences with medical care and treatments during and after the war. Coffin suffered from typhoid fever, gunshot wounds, hemorrhoids, chronic diarrhea, and rheumatism.

William R. Cooper postcards
Dr. William Ridge Cooper was born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, in 1862. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College, worked in his father’s medical practice, and later established his own. Cooper died in 1925.
The William R. Cooper postcards date from February through December of 1893. There are ten postcards in the collection, all from patients reporting new cases or requesting visits from Cooper.
William T. Taylor correspondence
The William T. Taylor correspondence collection contains three items, including a letter to the Medical Examiner, written in 1852 and concerning the birth of triplets; a bibliography, presumably of his published works; and a statement of defense re James J. Levick's reinstatement to the Philadelphia County Medical Society.
