Allen R. Myers was born in Baltimore on January 14, 1935. He graduated from University of Pennsylvania and received his M.D. from University of Maryland in 1960; his medical specialties were Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He spent the majority of his career in academia and was elected College President in 2000 and served two terms. Myers died in January 2020.

Ernest A. Spiegel, M.D., was an Austrian-born internationally
recognized neurologist. He emigrated to the United States in 1930,
where he spent much of his career at Temple University School of
Medicine in Philadelphia. He finished his career at the National

Evelyn Matthews Cook Bauerle was born in 1910 in Rahway Union, New Jersey. Final report, dated 1890 Feb. 1, of the committee appointed by the College of Physicians of Philadelphia to review and revise the 1880 edition of the Pharmacopoeia of the United States.
