Files include patient histories, laboratory results, discharge summaries, billing information, and correspondence between Corman and other physicians. The collection also includes a small number of files related to legal cases with which Corman was involved; and medical articles and reprints.

Notes taken by Henry H. Whitehouse on lectures of Sidney I. Smith on comparative anatomy (pp. 1-24) and R. H. Chittenden on physiological chemistry (pp. 119-164) at Yale University’s Sheffield Scientific School, circa 1885. Includes drawings of dissections of frogs, cats, and rabbits and microscopic observations of yeast, bacteria, and cells from skin, bone, and various organs.

Hermann B. Anderson ledgers
The collection contains three ledgers, 1888-1902, documenting the Hanover County medical practice of Hermann B. Anderson. The ledgers list patients, reason for visit, and settlement of account. An index to account names is included in each volume. Two of the ledgers contain farm accounts for the years 1889-1890 and 1897-1901, and one contains a separate section for "Negro accounts", 1895.
Historical Medical Photographs Collection
Since photography was invented in the mid-19th century, it has been used for medical purposes. The collection contains more than 4,000 photographs and showcases a variety of patients with diseases, injuries, and malformations, such as Civil War amputations, conjoined twins, and birth defects.
