Daybook lists income accounts chronologically with patient’s name, date, charge, and brief explanation. Includes accounts with towns of Jay and East Livermore and extensive notes on case of paracentesis thoracis, 1877.

Biographical / Historical
Isaiah Leavitt Alden, Livermore Falls, Me., physician, was born on 8 June 1846. He received an M.D. from the Medical School of Maine at Bowdoin College in 1869 and attended the 1877 annual meeting of the Maine Medical Association. I. L. Alden died on 1 July 1886.
