Biographical / Historical
Roentgen Laboratory established at Philadelphia General Hospital by Daniel E. Hughes and Charles L. Leonard in 1900. From 1900 to Oct. 1902, George E. Pfahler supervised the laboratory and performed over 800 examinations, including the second x-ray diagnosis of a brain tumor.
