Scope and Contents
This collection of 54 letters, 1951-1954, to Walter B. Shelley
from dermatologists around the world, contains biographical
information which was used in Shelley's Classics in clinical
dermatology (1953). Most of the correspondents convey photographs
and information on their own life, career, and work or that
of relatives.
Correspondents are: Stuart D. Allen, Paul Blum, Aldo Castellani,
Helen O. Curth, Niels Danbolt, Oskar Gans, Henri Gougerot, Sir
Archibald Gray, Sven Hellerstrom, Erich Hoffmann, C. Guy Lane,
J. E. R. McDonagh, John P. O'Brien, G. A. Grant Peterkin, Hermann
Pinkus, R. V. Rajam, GustavjRiehl, Walther H. P. Schonfeld,
Francis Eugene Senear, John H. Stokes, Alfred Stuhmer, Marion
B. Sulzberger, Richard Lightburn Sutton, Richard Lightburn Sutton,
Jr., Albert Touraine, Barney Usher, Jaoa Paulo Vieira, F. Parkes
Weber, Max Winkler, and S. J. Zakon. The collection also includes
